The DQS combines the knowledge and the know-how acquired throughout years working in the scope of aerospace and engineering projects together with world-class national and international technology organizations.
As part of its Quality Policy, one of the main organizational objectives of DEIMOS Space is to achieve continual improvement of processes, products, services, along with the continued and sustainable growth of the company.

In December 2005, DEIMOS Space was officially awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification at its headquarters in Madrid. Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC), one of the most widely recognized independent Certification Bodies in the world, granted the certificate under the Spanish (ENAC) and British (UKAS) accreditation schemes.
In November 2008, the DQS has been successfully recertified by BVC against the ISO 9001 standard. The DQS is currently being adapted to ISO 9001:2008 in order to obtain the renewal of the certification, foreseen for the last quarter of 2009.
This represents international recognition of the effort and contribution from all DEIMOS Space staff to provide effective responses to customer needs reaffirming their focus and commitment to business excellence.
In addition, in March 2007, the Spanish Ministry of Defence successfully assessed the DQS against the military quality standard AQAP 2110 Ed.2 Rev.0
